White Spur Park
Have a bunch of charged-up kids that need to release some of that energy? Head over to White Spur Park. Located in the Zach White district of El Paso, this park is one of the best in the areas for kids. A spacious running area, a small play area that's covered with wood chips instead of sand, a few musical instruments, swings, slides, and many other types of equipment are scattered around the playground. There is plenty of shade for parents to relax under and lots of seating as well. The park is well-maintained and clean and is a great place for a day of family fun.
Lincoln Park
A seemingly ordinary stretch of green, the Lincoln Park is not your run-of-the-mill open green space. Hidden under the Patriot Freeway, this park is home to painted murals, splashed full of colors on the columns of the freeway, done by local artists. The color only becomes more vibrant when the El Paso Car Show unfolds here. Do stop by here when in the city, and really discover the city's creative side.
