The park has countless amenities that come under the various sections that Tom Bass is divided into. There is an amphitheater that holds events, cricket fields, Frisbee golf courses, well-equipped pavilions with barbecue pits, fish ponds, and many other attractions that make for a perfect picnic spot here. The park is so full of activities that every bit of it makes the visit worth it.
Smither Park is unique and nothing like your average stereotypical park. It more than makes up for its lack of recreational features with some solid and exquisite artwork and paintings, life-sized mosaics, and beautiful sculptures. This park is one big work of art that is the fruit of the dedicated efforts of numerous local artists. The park has a few benches, some swings, and plenty of space to run around. Smither Park is an excellent example of public art and definitely should not be missed.
The Evelyn's Park Conservancy is a large public park that has something for everyone. The park features a great circular grassy lawn for recreational sports, a children's playground with plenty of kiddie activities, a pavilion that frequently hosts local and music events, and long trails that wind through the park and are perfect for casual strolls or jogs. Hungry? Grab a bite to eat and a refreshing drink at the cafe on the west side. The park and its facilities are clean and well-maintained making it popular with the locals and a great spot to sit back and relax amidst nature.
