A small park located at the south of Arlington, Martha Walker Park offers a good respite from the commotions of the city. The park is divided into two sections, one of which is an open grassy area with a concrete trail and fitness station; while the other is covered with a blanket of trees and a few picnic tables. A great place for healthy walk or jog as well as for an enjoyable family picnic, the division ensures neither of the groups come in the way of the others.

Named after UTA professor, Allan Saxe, the Allan Saxe Park offers a great respite from the daily hustle and bustle of the city. Serene and blissful, this is the perfect place to unwind after a tiresome day or even to spend a peaceful moment with your family. Covered with a blanket of trees and pristine green grass, this is also a splendid spot for a picnic, with nothing but the sound of rusting leaves to distract you.

Few other parks in the city can boast of a biking trail that's as enjoyable as the one at Lynn Creek Linear Park. The massive 149 acre (60.2 hectare) park boasts of a 1.6 mile (2.5 kilometer) paved trail that covers vast green, picturesque areas. Besides the biking trail, the park is also a great place to spend quality time with your family and friends.
