On the tumbling slopes of one of Bellevue's older residential neighborhoods, Chism Beach Park combines a lake beach with winding roads and hilly trails. The beach is the focus, with plenty of space for parking, picnics, sand castle building and diving into the water. The leisurely drive through the upper reaches of the park is pleasant, too, with occasional sudden lake views and quiet hiking trails. You'd never know you were five minutes from downtown Bellevue.
A day at the Enatai Beach Park makes for a wonderful family outing. With several superb picnic spots, both on the beach as well as in the park, Enatai has space to accommodate over 30 families. There are also boat and canoe rentals can be made.
