College of Charleston's Cistern Yard is one of the city's popular venues. The yard is an iconic section of the college that has a 19th-century reservoir at its nucleus. The cistern as well as the yard act as a venue for a variety of events, including the college's graduation services. Located in front of the Randolph Hall, this lively venue also serves as a must-visit spot for jazz lovers during the months of May and June.
