Spirit of Communication statue has been the symbol of AT&T since 1916. It is also known informally as "Golden Boy." The statue weighs more than 15 tons, stands 24 feet tall, and its wings extend 9 feet wide. It is cast in bronze and covered with more than 12,500 pieces of gold leaf.
