Wilder Homestead is the 19th-century boyhood home of Almanzo Wilder. This interactive museum also consists of other reconstructed structures like the picnic pavilion, the pump house and corn cribs. Visitors get to know more about 19th-century farming from the exhibits of farm tools and period artifacts in the museum. The museum also offers special programs for school children about the lifestyle of the period around 150 years ago.
