Polo Park HOA
This monastery and Catholic church was originally established by German friars in 1882, with construction being completed in 1884. It functioned as a German Catholic colony for over a decade until the Sisters of Mercy took over the property in 1897. The sisters ran the monastery and convent until 1938. Today, all that remains of the Carmelite tenure are the historic living quarters. The sturdy adobe structure built in Gothic-Revival style is the only thing that survived a tornado that tore through the compound, leading to its subsequent abandonment.

Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery was established in 2004 by a small group of Midlanders who believed that their community was in need of another cemetery choice. Serenity currently has about 2 1/2 acres developed into our office area and our gardens, with plans to grow into our 50 acre home in the years to come. Beal Park
Beal Park is one of Midland's most popular outdoor recreation spots. While the little ones will enjoy clambering about at the playground, their teenage counterparts are sure to find the the skate park nearby is more to their liking. The park also features soccer, cricket and baseball fields, basketball courts, an amphitheater and picnic areas, alongside a pond that is stocked with trout. Bring along your fishing pole and indulge in a spot of fishing while the kids play nearby, or settle down with a pair of binoculars and keep an eye out for the many birds that frequent the pond. Beal Park is a family-friendly spot that has something to offer everyone.
