Gomer's South
Being the owner of a gas station he started in 1969, Ed “Gomer” Moody found himself in the middle of a gas shortage in 1973. Being the opportunist, he decided to go get a liquor license and expand the business. And once the gas started pumping again Gomer’s had became a very popular convenience store. Gomer’s Fine Wines and Spirits was born. Over the years the gas station split off into its own building and a shopping center took shape in the area. And even as the Gomer’s name has expanded to four other locations in the Kansas City area, Gomer’s South has always been a roadhouse liquor store favorite. Sure, the building could use some work…but, we are too busy staying on top of the industry so we can bring you the latest and greatest at the best price. And if we’re not the best price, just show us the competitor’s ad and we will make it so. She may not be the prettiest girl at the ball, but she’s very stacked with…merchandise.
