It offers a variety of technical support and logistics services. The division serves clients in the agriculture, medical, telecommunications, and food processing and packaging industries. Elect///Air also serves clients in the semiconductor manufacturing and electronic data processing industries. The division offers a selection of actuators, valves and energy absorption products. It maintains warehousing and assembly facilities. In addition, the division offers systems design and build services. Applied Industrial Technologies is one of the leading fluid power distributors in the United States.
The motto of the business was “We provide service that only a family-owned and operated business can supply.” This adage has been the hallmark of our company’s success and is still supported today by the company’s surviving family members. Hard work coupled with fierce determination led to several strong partnerships with local businesses that helped permanently root California Tool & Welding Supply in the Riverside and San Bernardino areas. Bob Jr. and Rick were later joined by Bob Sr. after he sold his welding supply company in Duarte. Together the three partners built the solid foundation that California Tool & Welding Supply stands upon today. Many years later that dusty sand lot is still home to Cal Tool’s corporate office. Of course, we now have a few more buildings on the lot and a lot less vacant land.

We have earned a reputation for delivering on time, at a competitive price and exactly to specifications. The facility spans 30, 000 square feet on five acres south of Los Angeles.
