It is an ISO 9001:2000-certified facility that specializes in flame and plasma cutting of plate products and plate distribution. The facility has over 10 precision computerized numerical-control machines and processes various materials, such as hot-rolled metals, stainless steel and aluminum. Its processing capabilities include oxy-fuel cutting, toll processing and shearing. Macsteel Service Centers USA serves customers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Metcam provides precision sheet metal fabrication and value added services to all industries. The company offers both powder and liquid painting capabilities, preferring the more cost effective and environmentally friendly powder painting process. Metcam utilizes a conveyorized, five-stage iron phosphate spray washer to pre-treat cold-rolled and galvanized steel parts prior to coating. Aluminum parts are irridited in a manual immersion line prior to being hung on the conveyor for painting. Metcam's beginning-to-end metalworking services start when fabrication experts work with customer design teams.
