Founded in 1989, MFRI is a manufacturer of custom-designed industrial filtration products, specialty piping systems and industrial process cooling equipment. The company s operations are conducted through three businesses: Midwesco Filter, a manufacturer of filter elements, accessories and maintenance services for industrial air filtration systems; Perma-Pipe, a manufacturer of specialty piping systems for district heating and cooling, secondary containment and preinsulated oil and gas gathering flowlines; and Thermal Care, a manufacturer of heat transfer equipment, such as chillers, cooling towers and plant circulating systems for cooling industrial processes. MFRI is headquartered in Niles, Ill., and maintains offices in Winchester, Va., and Nakskov, Denmark.
