We were quoted a ballpark estimate of $3,300 to $3,500, which is quite expensive for a local move. This price includes the hourly rate for three movers ($275 per hour), a 26-foot truck and a $1,500 to $1,700 travel fee. The reason the travel fee is so high is that the company is located in Phoenix. While Moving Team Six services the Prescott Valley area, the drive time from its office is significant. The estimate also includes the cost of furniture wrap, tools, blankets and furniture disassembly and reassembly.
