About Harding Shelton, Inc is an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company. Harding Shelton was founded in 1981 by Charles Harding Jr. and John Shelton with a focus on the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas properties in Oklahoma. The last 29 years have provided Harding Shelton with both the knowledge and financial strength to proceed with bold new initiatives. During the late 2000's we began to shift our reserve and production profiles toward crude oil, believing its valuation potential exceeded that of natural gas. As of the fourth quarter 2010, crude oil accounted for 35% of our production.
