Tengasco Pipeline Corporation owns and operates a 65-mile intrastate pipeline to transport natural gas from the Swan Creek field to customers in Kingsport in Tennessee. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tengasco, which focuses on the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas in Kansas and Tennessee. Founded in 1916, Tengasco also owns and operates Manufactured Methane Corporation, which specializes in the extraction of methane gas from nonconventional sources, as well as distributes it to natural gas customers. Tengasco operates nearly 150 producing oil wells in Kansas.
