Oceanside Builders is founded on the idea that quality built structures are usually cheaper to own and operate in the long run if built using sound building science and engineering practices. Since we do most of our work on the coast of Maine we have learned how to execute the details that will survive the elements, and ensure leak-free windows, doors, roofs and foundations just to name a few. We are current on all environmentally friendly building materials and would love to work with you on creating an energy-efficient home. Some of the processes we have worked with include ICF foundations, solar and geothermal installations . We pride ourselves in creating unique and innovative structures. Maine Veterans' Homes is a public, nonprofit organization and operates more than six facilities located throughout the state, including one located in Scarborough, Maine. Established in 1990, it provides 24-hour restorative nursing in its various units, including a more than 40-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing care unit, an over 40-bed long-term care unit and a unit for residents suffering from Alzheimer s disease and other related dementias. Its medical services include skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term, residential and respite care and its rehabilitation care includes speech, language, occupational and physical therapies. Maine Veterans' Home, Scarborough, is also a teaching facility affiliated with schools of nursing and the family practice and internal medicine residency programs at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.
