Innervation Energy Solutions specializes in conducting thorough home energy audits. Unlike many of our competitors, at IES we come fully prepared to investigate every aspect of the home's energy portfolio. Our auditors come equipped with: a blower door to test the leakiness of the home and to find where the leaks are, an infrared camera to look inside the walls to access insulation effectiveness as well as to find mold/mildew, combustion safety equipment to ensure that your gas powered appliances are venting properly and not releasing carbon-monoxide into the living space, and other equipment to assess the home's overall performance. Using the data we collect we generate a computer model of your home to find the most cost-effective actions you can take to save money while simultaneously greening your home! We are set further apart from the competition as all of our auditors are college graduates with engineering degrees, and every lead auditor is BPI certified to conduct audits.
I have been a licensed General Contractor for 35 plus years. When I inspect a property I view it from the Contractors perspective. I see faults and issues that most Home Inspectors don't. I like to take time with each client, on site if possible or virtually to make sure they have a realistic review of the property. I am a single inspector business so I have complete control over the information that the client gets. Many Home inspection business' employ inspectors that have passed the national test and have received basic instruction on how to inspect a property. I present each client with a thorough report with pictures to highlight items that may need to be addressed. I can also help you create a maintenance program for your property which will help you avoid deferred maintenance in the long run. I am also available to consult on future projects. It can be valuable to talk to a contractor before you begin the planning stage for a future project. Architects can be expensive so knowing if you can move a wall, add a stair etc., before you get too deep into project planning can be very helpful.
