Housing Opportunities Corporation, also known as Hoc, is a nonprofit property management corporation that is a part of Women's Development Corporation (Wdc), which designs, develops and produces affordable housing for families, elderly and groups with special needs. Founded in 1983, Housing Opportunities Corporation manages more than 650 apartments throughout Rhode Island. It offers a variety of physical building and financial management services. The company financial management services include preparation of operating expenses budget and government reports. Housing Opportunities Corporation also provides a range of administrative management and tenant services that feature tenant leasing, rent collection and annual tenant re-certifications.
