An infrared thermal imaging scan is an additional service that can help detect hidden deficiencies not visible to the naked eye, such as: - Fallen/missing insulation within the walls - Water penetrations/damage in the walls/ceilings/roof - Overloaded electrical circuitry/outlets/breakers - Areas of energy loss - Some types of Insect infestation/damage in walls In most cases an inspection appointment can be secured within 24-48hrs, with reports (including digital photos) being delivered via email 24hrs after the completed inspection or by end-of-business next day. Alarmist home inspectors do a disservice to everyone. My approach is to provide helpful perspective that buyers and sellers can incorporate into their decision-making process.
