I am a native New Yorker whose family moved to the Hudson Valley when I was 10. The year was 1969 and I was clearly not from this place. Despite being so clearly different, I loved being here and flourished. I found my "country" roots, which Idiacovered not to be so different from my city roots. After college, I lived in both N.Y.C. and San Francisco. I am now back, living in Rhinebeck, and hoping to share my bliss with newcomers hoping to make the Hudson Valley their home.
