The Purple Cow Restaurant

The Purple Cow Restaurant is a popular chain of diner-style restaurant located on Cantrell Road. A family-friendly eating place, the restaurant is filled with adults and kids of all age groups enjoying a delicious fare. The in-house specialties include gourmet burgers, hand-dipped shakes, grilled sandwiches and hearty potions of salads. Private events like parties, graduations, anniversaries can be hosted at this restaurant.

Trio's Restaurant

A year after the establishment of the Pavilion in the Park shopping center in Little Rock, Trio's opened as an informal eatery. Back then, it was known for the wonderfully delicious eclectic cuisine as it is today. If you do visit here, ensure you check out the daily specials before browsing through the menu. Fresh fruits served with yogurt and poppy seeds, or homemade soups are the lightest appetizers you will find. Their signature Chicken Salad comprises tarragon and walnuts and comes with banana bread and 'Mattie's bing cherry jello'! The menu, however, changes very often and seasonal offerings are the best. Trio's own Orange Crush, Watermelon Crawl or Cuban infusion are excellent thirst quenchers.

Buffalo Grill

With some of the best beef around town, it is no wonder this grill has been voted "Best Burger" by the Arkansas Times for 14 years. Its friendly, relaxed atmosphere makes this the perfect place for business lunches, dates, or a fun meal with the family. The grill also serves up terrific chicken tenders, cheese dip and home-style fries. The grilled turkey Delight sandwich is delicious. There is a limited beer and wine menu as well. This location is the original, although there is also a Buffalo Grill in West Little Rock.

Whole Hog Cafe

The Whole Hog Cafe evolved from "a hobby that got out of hand." When Whole Hog founders Mike "Sarge" Davis, Ron Blasingame, and Steve Lucchi entered the 2000 Memphis-in-May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, they knew their rib recipe was something special. Apparently, the judges agreed, and their team - appropriately named "The Southern Gentlemen's Culinary Society" -- took home a 2nd place trophy that year. Two years later, they were back on top - this time with two competition teams. The "Whole Hog Cafe" team took another 2nd Place in the 'Ribs' category, and the "Southern Gentlemen" came out as World Champions, winning 1st Place in the 'Whole Hog' division.
