Dish
Dish is a new kind of restaurant that offers the quality and creativity of higher priced restaurants, with the value and comfort of a neighborhood coffee shop. We focus on classic American food, the kind of recipes you might find in an old Sunset magazine or your grandmother's cookbooks. People who love a great breakfast restaurant will appreciate the things we do at Dish. Like roasting bone-in hams every morning. Our lunch menu offers a great selection of American classics, with over ten salads, gourmet sandwiches, burgers, fresh seafood, pastas, chicken and steak. The dinner menu features home-style traditional American favorites such as roasted ham with macaroni & greens and pork chops with apple chutney. A full bar and wine list is available, along with a rare beer list. There are also fresh squeezed juices and boutique sodas. Of course there is a great kid's menu with lots of creative, healthy choices. And to top it all off, we make all our own pastries from scratch

Dunsmoor
Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years. Brian’s deep dive into the culinary legacy of America is filtered through the lens of a bike-riding, history-obsessed, pool-playing chef making a life in the heart of California’s produce cornucopia. Though Brian’s cooking will always be anchored to his Southern roots, he continues to unravel America’s intertwined food histories and regional fare, reweaving it back into his own story. The ‘Bill of Fare’ at Dunsmoor is centered around the room’s expansive hearth and wood oven, a nod to Brian’s emphasis on age-old techniques and tools; a vast majority of the food is made entirely by hand and cooked over live fire, using ingredients sourced from some of the country’s best farmers, ranchers, and artisans.
This vintage roadside diner has been in Eagle Rock since 1949, and upon first glance, it looks as if nothing has changed. The decor remains retro with orange vinyl bar stools, faux wood paneling, even the salt shakers and napkin holders are old-fashioned. In the kitchen, the short order cooks sling breakfast all-day, hearty lunches and comfort food for dinner. A couple of highlights include the Chicken Fried Mushrooms served with creamed kale, a corn waffle then topped with tomato syrup or the succulent Blackened Catfish & Succotash. Whatever you choose at whatever time of day, the daily selection of fresh pies, cakes and homemade ice cream is a reason itself to visit.
Hunger bells pealing? Chuck those fine-dining reservations and head over to The Oinkster for a quality meal and some quality time with the family. Chef Andre Guerrero puts his culinary expertise to good use as he vigorously tosses up house-cured pastrami and slow-roasted pork sandwiches, fresh rotisserie chicken, international salads and crunchy Belgian fries. Watch your kids go ga-ga over juicy, ground-beef burgers, carrot cup cakes and brownies by the dozen. Heaps of sides come in the form of tangy sauces, spicy dips and cheese galore.
