From the Hearth Kitchen & Pie Shop - Redding

From the Hearth Kitchen and Pie Shop is a leading and cutting-edge restaurant in Northern California. We started out as an award-winning sourdough bakery, and have evolved into an upscale fast-casual restaurant. We have four restaurants (Kitchen & Pie Shops) and two drive-thru kiosks (Pie Shops) all of which serve handmade varietal pies, delicious burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads and rice bowls, and a unique breakfast menu with espresso and smoothie drinks. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and incredible dishes. We love what we do, but don't take our word for it. The North State has voted us Best Bakery, Best Restaurant, and Best Lunch among other high honors.

Beni's California Cuisine

Family owned restaurant. Excited to serve city food at country prices. Pastas and breads are made fresh in house. Rolling specials and easy modifications make this small menu, versatile and delicious every visit. Saturday and Sundays brunch and mimosas are a must. How did we get here? Well over 10 years ago a waitress and a chef had a dream. We wanted to have our own restaurant. With out money in the family or equity to borrow from we needed a plan. Step one I (Mistee) get a teaching degree so that we can buy our first home, check. Step two buy the home, check. Step three build equity, that part simply took time, check. While waiting to build the equity I took a business class, first lesson (I kid you not) just do it! The final step was find a place we could lease and last summer (2024) we just so happened to be in the right place at the right time. We saw the lease sign at 2083 Balls Ferry probably the day it was posted, we applied as fast as we could. Long story short after 6 months of hard work and learning the ins and outs of restaurants we opened in February. The customers are amazing, the food is great and we are more than excited to finally have our dream come to life. With a good check list and some tenacity anything is possible. Like Nike and my business professor say, "just do it!"
