The Wheel focuses on American cuisine brimming with locally sourced ingredients in an industrial chic, waterfront setting. Drawing on fresh ingredients from over 40 local farmers, fishermen and purveyors, the restaurant features the best of what's in season with an ever-changing menu plus produce grown and harvested right from The Village's rooftop garden. At the center of its open kitchen lies a hearth oven used to roast meats, fish and vegetables, as well as to bake Neapolitan-style pizzas.
We are a family owned and operated restaurant. For the past 50 years we have been serving the area with traditional American & European cuisine. We are closed on Sundays, however we are open for private parties and caterings. We hope to see you soon!

Opened in the summer of 2016, Prime is almost a mirror image of its sister restaurant that resides across the Long Island Sound in Huntington, New York. Tempered glass walls allow a full view of the water from nearly any seat in the house and stay open when the weather allows. Explore our specially built glass wine room, visible from the both inside and outside the building. With over 750 labels, the floor-to-ceiling enclosure has separate temperatures for white or red wines. Defined by innovative departures to classic dishes, Prime offers a curated raw bar, mizu sushi, and 21-day dry-aged CAB beef paired with enhancements. In warmer weather, sit outside watching the boats come in with one of our inventive signature cocktails. Dinner is served on the deck or our outdoor cabana bar. Sunday Brunch is offered weekly (Huntington: 11:30am to 3pm; Stamford: 12pm to 3pm), with catering options also available.
