Ka Ikena Laua'e Restaurant

"Ka`Ikena Laua`e is a learning laboratory where the food and service are provided by Culinary students, to the open public for dining twice per semester. Pancakes & Waffles

One of the more family-friendly eateries in the area, this simple breakfast spot offers those who are hooked on breakfast an all-day dining option. This eatery is located across the street from the Kapalama Canal at the corner of Dillingham in the City Center. The simple and clean interior is active with families gathering for waffles, loco moco and more. There is a tempting list of pancakes and waffles, which all come with a choice of pecan, chocolate chip or strawberries and cream. Other options include omelets, a special azuki bean crepe and French toast made from sweet bread.

Morton's the Steakhouse

The winner of many awards, Morton's claims it's the "Best steak anywhere".  So if you're in Honolulu and craving a juicy cut of meat, head on over and hold them to their claim! The dinner menu reads like a roster of popular dishes with Double-Cut Rib Lamb Chops, Maine Lobster Cocktail, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and much more. Daily specials are offered for lunch and happy hour.

Come down on a weekend and enjoy a buffet fit for a king. Divided into indoor and outdoor dining area, this place is apt for intimate meetings, laid-back luncheon or a romantic dinner.

Hau Tree

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this place offers good food in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant takes its name from a huge Hau tree that grows out of Waikiki Beach and shades the beachfront terrace. This is a great place to take in the sunset while enjoying a wide variety of seafood and other well-prepared offerings at moderate prices. Mai Tais here are large and make a great view even better. The Hau Tree has live slack-key guitar music on weekend nights.

Located across Lewers Street, Denny's is a popular American diner that is open 24/7. Offering American staple diet featuring dishes like pancakes, burgers and similar other items, it satiates your craving for typical American food.
