The Honey Paw

If you are looking for a meal that is unique and will surprise and tantalize your taste-buds, The Honey Paw located in the East Bayside neighborhood is a eatery that you must visit. Step into this cozy restaurant and the first thing that will catch your eye is the honeycomb inspired decor here, with printed lampshades, wooden salt-bowls that are in the shape of individual honey-comb cells and golden yellow painted walls and tables. While the food here is New-American cuisine, what makes this place stand out is the way the dishes are prepared, using Asian inspired, techniques, flavors and traditions. Try dishes like the Crab & Tofu Fritters, the Fried Wings (with tamarind, bird's eye chilies, coconut and lemongrass), the Vietnamese Pork Meatball Soup (roast pork, mortadella, Thai bird sambal, smoked pork broth and homemade glass noodles) and the Giant Smoked Pork Chop (mustard jus, hash brown poutine, husk cherry, bonito and nori). Finish off the meal on a sweet note, with the Soft Serve Ice-Cream with honeycomb for dessert.

Little Tap House

Little Tap House is known as one of Portland's Top Craft Beer destinations. Nestled in the heart of Portland's West End and Downtown Arts District, Little Tap House offers house made fare and 14 local taps. A neighborhood favorite for locals and visitors alike. The interior is rustic with wide beam oak flooring and pays homage to the building's 1800s roots. High-tops made from Allagash Brewing barrels sit perched in the front for a convivial space to enjoy a Happy Hour with friends or a cozy dinner later into the evening. High-backed seats surround the barrels for dining comfort. Lower seating is also offered throughout the restaurant and the 11-seat bar with high-backed chairs and two TVs is a perfect spot to enjoy a beer and burger while catching a game. During the summer, six patio tables line the sidewalk for dog-friendly dining. Little Tap House sits across the street from the Portland Museum of Art and just steps away from popular concert venues like the State Theater, Cross Insurance Arena, One Longfellow Square and Aura.
