Seafood lovers will have a gala time at this Upper East Side dining spot, which serves a wide array of seafood along with its specialty, mussels. The mussels at Flex Mussels can be ordered in a variety of different broths like Thai (lemongrass flavored), Funghi (mushrooms and bacon), the Fra Diavolo (tomatoes, olive oil ,garlic and basil), amongst others. These mussels are served in large stock pots and come accompanied by dipping bread and the restaurant's famous hand cut Cajun or Truffle crispy fries. Aside from mussels, however, Flex Mussels also offers fresh oysters, sourced from Prince Edward Island daily, along with dishes like the lobster roll, the oyster po'boy and the perennial favorite batter fried fish and chips.
