Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order.

Etch
etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville and expanded to The Factory at Franklin in 2024. The modern restaurants each house two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into Chef Deb and her teams’ culinary prowess. etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb’s favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. Desserts are prepared in-house, including house-made ice creams and artfully plated confections that change seasonally. A robust wine selection rounds out the restaurants’ offerings, along with a succinct list of signature cocktails and high gravity beers. Under the creative oversight of Deb, both locations are led by Executive Chef Jess Lambert and Executive Chef Megan Williams, both of whom have worked closely with Deb for more than a decade. Our Franklin location is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, as well as weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
