Centro Latin kitchen is the largest Mexican restaurant in downtown Boulder. Located just at the end of the Pearl Street Mall, with ample parking and seating space, groups of all sizes can easily show up at the door and be seated with minimal wait. Centro sets itself apart from other local Mexican restaurants by changing its menu monthly depending on what foods are in season, holiday festivities, and chef experiments. The restaurant also hosts event for nearly every holiday; Labor Day specials, Halloween fiestas, Cinco de Mayo and Dia de los muetros celebrations, the works! For a good, filling meal in a fun, party-filled atmosphere, Centro is an excellent choice to end your day on Pearl Street.
Boulder's sister city Dushanbe, Tajikistan, donated this ornate building to the City of Boulder in the mid-1980's. Builders imported and erected more than 30 tons of material to build the structure, which was finished in 1988. It quickly assumed a prominent role in Boulder history and today it's a popular gathering place among locals. In addition to tea, this quirky little spot serves an array of exotic dishes, try the Burmese Coconut Curry and Tajik Plov or the Koresht Bodemjoon which is an Iranian eggplant and beef stew. This adorable café, bedecked in a menagerie of colors, sits one block east of the Pearl Street Mall. Its lively atmosphere and cluttered tables promote conversation. Most of the menu items come with creative names, such as the Altitude Adjustment crepe and the It was Sam Andreas Fault omelet. Vegetarian dishes are plentiful. A full espresso bar offers a multitude of caffeine fixations, and a range of beers and wines. Live music plays Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Etai's Bakery Cafe at CU Boulder (Biotech Building - East Campus) offers a fresh alternative to mass-produced fast food. We believe you shouldn't have to sacrifice good food for quick convenience. So at Etai's we serve breakfast and lunch all day, as well as freshly-made soups, leafy green salads, and hot sandwiches. Delivery and online ordering are both available for your convenience. Our on-site barista and full-service juice bar brews up steaming cups of coffee, lattes, cappuccinos and espresso and mocktails all day.
