La Flor
Much more than a Mexican restaurant, this establishment has been a Woodside favorite for nearly twenty years. With the direction of Chef Viko, diners can enjoy exceptional American fare as well, including great ribs, burgers, macaroni and cheese, oh and let's not talk about the garlic bread in a gorgonzola cream sauce! There's live jazz most nights, and a very friendly staff. La Flor is a place worth visiting again and again - we look forward to seeing you here soon!
A part of the Refinery Hotel, Parker and Quinn dishes out popular American favorites which includes everything between baby back ribs and mac n' cheese. The interiors at this restaurant nods wistfully towards the late '80s with its dark wood furniture, high tables and several black and white pictures adorning its elaborately wallpapered walls. The meals are filling, take the lamb burger for an example or the hanger steak; the drinks list goes on and on with creative concoctions and splendid spirits.
Apart from the massive beer collection it holds, Cafe d'Alsace promises fine French cuisine conjured up by veteran chef Philippe Roussel, having moved from Brittany, France to New York. His Brittany magic will soon be working its magic on New Yorkers. Be sure to try the classic dessert Choucroute Garnie; it is one of the signature desserts of the region and delicious at Cafe d'Alsace. Check out the website for more details.
