Taproot | Lounge and Café | n. is located in a 1860 historic building of downtown Salem, Oregon. The cafe's main focus is the juice bar featuring fresh vegetable and fruit juice. Taproot also offers a full breakfast menu, light healthy meals, tapas, desserts, as well as coffees and teas. At night the café will transition into a lounge with a focus on crafty cocktails and craft beer. Annette's is located in the historic Kingwood building. Originally erected in 1928 to be a market place, the building has adopted many occupants though its years, however it has never lost its historic style. As a matter of fact, you can still see the old West Salem Library from almost every seat in the dining room. Annette's, which was formally known as Westgate Café, has been dedicated to serving the town's folk of West Salem a heaping good plate of food. We continue today with that same principal.
