Dutch Eating Place

Since 1991, Dutch Eating Place has been serving the people of Philadelphia true Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine as it was meant to be. Our homemade dishes start with farm fresh, locally sourced ingredients and are rooted in tradition, with many of our recipes coming from our grandmother. Get a taste of our delectable blueberry pancakes or our apple dumplings -- either way, you'll taste homemade comfort food in every bite. Join us for lunch for a selection of homemade soups and hearty sandwiches that are sure to brighten your day. Our friendly and caring team will make you feel like a regular on your first visit to the spot that's bringing the country to the city.

Green Eggs Café

Located in the heart of Philadelphia, the aptly named Green Eggs cafe is the new nature-friendly breakfast and brunch eatery on the block. Their Crème Brulee French Toast has almost become its own brand and for something meatier, diners can always try the Chicken & Waffles Benedict special. Their scrambles made from egg or tofu and freshly brewed coffee are what makes the spot so popular. A consistent feature is the generous proportions which means you can always share a meal. The restaurant grows its own ingredients at its rooftop garden and also ensures that all of its waste is composted. Diners are urged to come early in the morning for the best breakfast experience.

Middle Child

Middle Child is an all-day breakfast and lunch spot inspired by the Italian hoagie shops, Jewish delis, and Greek diners of old-school Philadelphia. We want to preserve those traditions, but we also want to make them new again. Because lacto-fermentation is awesome but so are Kraft singles. And great food shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. So come to us for all things eggs, pastries, bagels, sandwiches, salads, etc. We're great for when you've got the time or when you're in a pinch, and we're really stoked to have you. Really, we are.

The Dutch

The Dutch serves square breakfast in neat and clean choices of sandwiches, salads, omelettes and drinks. Its pastel color interior with a see-through glass allows it more light gives it a fresh look and makes it appropriate for a breakfast joint. It is great to start your day With a steaming cup of strong coffee and munchies at this restaurant before start rushing in uptown Philadelphia.
