Jim's Restaurants

The Jim's Restaurant location right before the intersection of Highway 183 and the MoPac Freeway is like an independent Denny's but with a more extensive menu. The dining room is brightly lit (perfect for helping the sleepy and the tired wake up for a busy day), and the service is friendly and quite knowledgeable (possibly due to that southern hospitality mindset). In a city like Austin, where physical fitness is highly valued, it is nice to know that Jim's offers healthy fare, such as cereal, bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit, whole wheat options, and the Cereal Combo (hot or cold cereal with a side of fresh, seasonal fruit and toast), amongst other selections. Wash everything down with a cup of their Special Blend Coffee.
