By far the best food on The San Antonio Riverwalk. Alamo Biscuit Company provides a perfect slice of Texas and San Antonio with a diverse breakfast and dinner menu served 24 hours a day. The ambiance is clean and modern. At the time I visited, they had only been open for about 2 weeks. The staff is friendly and caring.
Blush was designed to provide an unforgettable experience. To do this we envisioned a space that provides an escape from the stresses of the outside world, a culinary journey that challenges and excites, with fresh seasonal ingredients and a care for the health and well being of where the products are grown and raised. Our ever changing menu is a nod to our staffs’ creativity and genuine care for the products that we work with, and we all relish in the excitement of being able to share these adaptations with our guests. From a design aspect, the restaurant was created to provide a space that promotes relaxation and transports you to your favorite holiday destination. While on holiday, our cares and worries are behind us and we focus our attention on enjoying the people and environment we are in. Our goal was to blend old and new with a modern take on antique chic. Our historical building, built in 1914, was tastefully adorned with floral wall paper, velvet green sofas and still maintains its original pine wood floors. The patio was meant to mimic the Mediterranean areas of Italy, France and Greece with its white walls, covered pergola and touches of flowers and vines all while sitting back and relaxing with a glass of champagne and listing to our revolving set of talented DJs. Memorable moments stick to us not just because of what we were served, but how special we felt when we were enjoying them.
Upon entering Bakery Lorraine, you are treated to a spacious room with a comfortable seating arrangement. The light-colored walls and bright lights give this cafe cum restaurant a warm and welcoming feel. The major draw of this place lies in its menu consisting of highlights such as Chef Salad, Kale Caesar, Tomato Toast, Roasted Chicken Salad sandwich and *BL BLT.

Set in a little bungalow that’s as cute as a cupcake, this brunch-only, walk-in, counter-style bistro off the St. Mary's strip can do no wrong. Snag a seat at the counter and watch as the open kitchen dabbles in affordable French luxury with the likes of proper omelets and a whole lot of butter, hollandaise, truffles, and caviar offered at every turn. The menu is the right size. Think doughnuts dusted in powdered sugar that rival the best beignets or sandwiches stacked with smoked brisket, egg, and cheese served on beautifully bronzed rolls made in house. One unexpected sleeper hit is the breakfast potatoes, which outclass all other versions by miles. A chalkboard out front encourages diners to try a “Champagne breakfast.” It’s a perfect idea.
