The first Johnnie s Charcoal Broiler was opened in 1971 in Oklahoma City. Today, it is a chain of nearly eleven restaurants that are owned by David and Rick Haynes. It serves more than 30,000 burgers each week. The restaurant s menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, sides, soups, steaks and desserts. Johnnie s Charcoal Broiler additionally offers a special children s menu that includes breaded chicken strips, grilled cheese sandwiches and junior burgers. It operates a club that provides information related to special offers and events to members. The Garage was created when three men sat down one day and wanted to offer the best tasting hamburgers and fresh cut fries.
