In 1978, Master chef Jimmy Chung moved from Taiwan and started cooking traditional Chinese food in New York City; he has been cooking Chinese food ever since. After meeting his wife, Melissa, they moved to Colorado and decided to open their own Chinese restaurant. In 1993, United Chinese Restaurant became a family owned restaurant that first originated in Westminster on 104th/Federal and has since moved to our current location in Broomfield in 1999. In 2006, the success of the Broomfield location has allowed us to expand and open a even bigger location in Thornton. Sushi has been added to our food selection at Thornton. At United Chinese Restaurant, we will only use high quality meat and bring you the freshest ingredients available.
