Located in a little plaza, Hong Kong Café is a store front eatery serving a modern interpretation of classic Chinese dishes. The food menu includes a wide variety of dishes from various regions of China. The most notable dishes being the Shrimp Lo Mein and Kung Pao Shrimp to name a few. Meals are served in large portions and can be accompanied with shakes, jelly drinks and ice creams. The must try is the authentic and yummy Hong Kong tea. Do not forget to enjoy their free dessert after the meal. Overall the restaurant has a cozy environment and is full people especially on weekends. While this eatery itself may not look like much with the simple decor and setup, the flavor of the food here is not skimped on in any way! Step into this restaurant and the first thing you will notice is the large dim-sum cart this is being pushed around from table to table. Take a seat and choose from the wide selection of steamed dim-sums, dumplings and baked buns from the cart. Once you have done that make sure you try specials like the Cold Marinated Chicken Feet, Jelly Fish in Spicy Garlic Sauce, Crispy Fried Intestine and Braised Sea Cucumber in Brown Sauce. If you are not such an adventurous eater however, fret not as there are also options like the Salt & Pepper Lobster and Kung Pao Chicken on the menu. This is a great place to enjoy an exciting family meal.

I joined a local CSA farm share at Isabelle Farm and am enchanted by the farm-to-table idea. We are so proud that Isabelle Farm will be one of our main providers of farm-to-table organic vegetables, it's very important to us to support and use local farms and purveyors.
Peter Chang has been serving up his Chinese specialties in the Congress Park area for over 30 years. The non-MSG menu contains over 30 items, including an assortment of entrees made with pork, beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables. The Chicken Lo Mein, Crab Cheese Wontons and Sesame Chicken highlight the selection. Lunch specials pepper the menu Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm. Seating is very limited. Delivery to offices and homes is free with orders of 10 dollars or more.
