Emmer & Rye is located along historic Rainey Street and it's here that visitors receive some of the best dim sum west of the Mississippi. Open for weekend brunch and dinner, most people know E&R for its eclectic dim sums made with farm-to-table ingredients. However, these aren't your typical Chinese dim sum, these ones are made with exotic items like Nasturtium flower, sumac, pecan milk, roasted beets, poached shrimp and much more. The entrees include Norwegian Mackerel, Lamb Loin and Short-Rib Confit, but since the kitchen is constantly working with in-season ingredients, naturally the menu changes often. The wine, beer, and cocktails are just as eclectic as the food.
