Although the name may not make you want to drop everything and plan a meal at this restaurant, The Boll Weevil Café is actually a rather pleasant place to dine. Set in a refurbished cotton warehouse and taking its name from the beetle that feeds on cotton buds, this eatery has many Southern delights for you to feast on. The lunch and dinner menus feature scrumptious preparations like creole chicken, blackened mahi-mahi, apple-topped chops and grilled top sirloin. The Angus beef Boll Weevil burger is another offering to savor. There are also some delicious confections like the coffee toffee and banana chocolate chip cakes.
