The array of green, blue, and red organic veggies, seafood, poultry and eggs assures something for everyone. Apart from salads (named amusingly enough, after the likes of Dagwood and Marley), sandwiches, bottled organic juices, and wines are also available. Also the decor is in keeping with green norms, including the packaging which is made from corn.
The 17 year old Thai Spice Restaurant was awarded as one of the Top Five Thai Restaurants by the San Francisco Chronicle. Located at Russian Hill, the restaurant has a refreshing and clean ambiance with minimal decor, which makes it very inviting. This family-owned restaurant was established in the late 1980s. Originally, it was a takeout window with an attached kitchen. Today, it is a full-scale restaurant that offers no-frills but delicious dining. Once customers place their order at the counter, they can sit at one of the red plastic chairs that are scattered throughout the diner. Menu items include enchiladas and baby back ribs. While the atmosphere may be simple, neighborhood locals consistently point to the Taqueria as some of the most authentic Mexican food available in the Mission. Only cash is accepted.
