Tango's Subs and Empanadas

In 2006, Monica & Luis Bremmer dreamt of bringing the flavors of Argentina to Boise, ID.

Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery - Boise

One of downtown's most popular establishments also happens to be one of the first restaurants with a distillery in the nation. Bardenay, which is sailor's slang for cocktail, concocts its own vodka, rum, gin and whiskey. In addition to drinks comes an impressive New American menu. Entrees are quite filling and range from charbroiled salmon to rum pepper steak. The pork tenderloin and corned beef reuben sandwiches are especially good. Besides the distillery, the spacious brick-walled eatery features beers on tap served at its long, cherry-oak bar.

BBQ4LIFE

Overlooking South Vista Avenue, BBQ4LIFE is set in the bustling Vista Village Shopping Center. This family-run restaurant is a great place to visit for foodies. Opened in the year 2013, this eatery first started off as a food truck and was stationed on Overland Road. Their menu includes a variety of grilled steaks and other meats. In addition to this, they even serve a selection of delectable vegan eats. The restaurant features simple decor that exudes a warm and friendly vibe.

Boise Fry Company

The mother of all fries is here. Boise Fry Co. celebrates the fry-lover in all of us and makes it the showstopper of the meal. Preparing fries out of several potatoes like russet, sweet, Okinawa, gold, and purple, Boise Fry Co. has gotten the process of making fries down to a science. Cleverly, Boise Fry serves you the burger as a side dish, with three options to choose from - beef, bison, and vegan. This eatery places unstinting faith in the goodness of locally produced organic food and uses only fresh ingredients in its preparations. When a restaurant ensures such wholesome efforts when making your meal, you only wish to return more often.

Casablanca Cuban Grill

Authentic Cuban Cuisine.

Bar Gernika

Experience Boise's Basque scene at this cozy, charming downtown eatery. Lamb stew, beef tongue (served on Saturdays), chorizo and solomo sandwiches decorate this funky menu. Standard fare exists for the less brave, too. Indulge with a 22-ounce Guinness or a glass of Basque wine. For a taste of Basque, try the croquetas. Tables are sparse, and prized if found. Outdoor seating is also available during the warmer months.
