Our menu centers around our signature bowl of Yuzu Shio Ramen; a light-colored broth built upon a reduction made from dried seafood, seaweed, an assortment of salty ingredients, citrus notes of yuzu, and plenty of Umami. Our kitchen handcrafts noodles using the same techniques employed in our Nanasawa Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture or "central kitchen" at the foot of Afuri mountain.

Momoyama is a family-owned contemporary Japanese restaurant that is proud to build on the tradition of Chef Scott Chae’s 30+ years of experience. Our foundation is the quality sushi and warm service that have made the Yama family of restaurants a Portland staple.
