One of the best Japanese and sushi eateries in town, Mikado opened its doors in 1999 and has been wowing diners ever since. This popular spot takes pride in using only high quality ingredients and takes their cuisine very seriously. The result is inventive and delightful plates that will tantalize your palate. Start off with delectable appetizers like Spicy Tuna Chop Chop, Hot Pepper Tuna or Yasai Gyoza. Try their hand rolls such as Amanda, India, Casino and Kamikaze. Their menu is extensive, chances are you might get a bit overwhelmed. Ask their friendly staff to guide you and you they direct you to the right dish as per your liking. Reservations are recommended.

Osaka
Osaka restaurant brings about excellent Japanese cuisine with that authentic Asian taste. Osaka's specialty rolls and dishes are creative and well-executed. Their classic teriyaki, sushi rolls and sashimi are always fresh and delicious as well. They often have a specialty fish, caught that day (and very reasonably priced) and of course, a bottle of saki to accompany your meal. A couple specialty dishes to try are the Naruto Roll- tuna, yellow tail and crab wrapped in cucumber (no rice) and topped with mango and peppers and the 'Tuna Twister'-avocado forming spiral bowl around a fresh tuna and a crunchy center with delicious light spicing. Service at Osaka has always been above average. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sushi comes out quickly and carefully prepared. They often throw in an extra item on the house. While the place may not look like much from the outside it has beautiful, modern decor. The restaurant is very clean, and the sushi is made at an open bar in the middle of the restaurant. As far as the prices- all I can say is every time you get the bill it is no more than half what you expect it to be.
