Oakland is one of the most popular Pittsburgh neighborhoods, from the Carnegie museums to the University of Pittsburgh, everyone who visits is immediately impressed with the amount of restaurants, culture, parks and history that this enclave holds. Oishii Bento is one of the many fabulous restaurants along Oakland Avenue, and its name in Japanese aptly translates to 'delicious lunchbox'. The restaurant focuses on simple and healthy meals prepared in a traditional way, from recipes that hail from Japan and Korea. Bento, rice bowls, Udon and sushi are a few items on the menu, just arrive early at lunchtime since it tends to become crowded.
Ginza
Ginza is a district of Chō, Tokyo. Ginza is named after the silver-coin mint established there in 1612 during the Edo period. We named our restaurant Ginza because we want you to experience some of the beauty of Japan through the cuisine. Japanese food is traditionally fresh, healthy, low in fat and believed to satisfy all your senses. Ginza strives to deliver food in an aesthetically pleasing presentation and with great care. We'll only use the freshest ingredients and top quality selections and combine them in a way that not only delights the eye but pleases the palate.
