Komodo Loco was established in 2016 by three local Denton boys with a passion for food. We're a nontraditional Japanese restaurant featuring a wide variety of dishes with Asian and Southwest flair, and while some folks might be tempted to call us a fusion place, we don't want to be too gimmicky. Instead, we say we provide fun, fresh meals that are innovative, delicious, and not too fussy -- a little something for everyone! And because we want Komodo Loco to be a place where you can hang out and enjoy the atmosphere just as much as you do our shareable tapas and specialty cocktails, we've put a lot of time and effort into cultivating good vibes around here. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride -- it may be a little wild, but we kinda like it that way.
J Sushi
A large variety of sushi, sashimi and rolls fills the menu at J Sushi. Whatever your taste in sushi, you can find it here. All of the traditional rolls like spicy tuna and California roll are of course included, but there are many creative specialty rolls to be savored, as well. Some of our specialty rolls include the Mean Green Roll (containing shrimp tempura, crab meat, and avocado), the Rattlesnake (spicy fish, jalapeno, cream cheese and avocado wrapped with tortilla) and the Cherry Blossom made with salmon, avocado and wrapped with tuna. If sushi is not what your palette is craving, you will also find other dishes, including various hibachi, teriyaki, and tempura dishes.

The charming sushi bar offers an eclectic menu of authentic and contemporary sushi, along with a great selection of Japanese dishes such as beef tataki. Other recommended preparations here include the tuna sashimi with guacamole - incredible flavorsome!
