Located on St. Marks, this quaint eatery is home to some of the quirkiest burritos in town. The Southern-California style burritos served here come stuffed with French fries. This modest eatery seats very few; however, that does not deter locals from lining to grab their favorite burritos. The plethora of breakfast burritos on offer here such as egg n’ cheese and chorizo, along with specialty burritos such as shrimp and bean n’ cheese are major crowd pullers too. Do stop by Electric Burrito for truly different burritos.
Xixa
Xixa is the brainchild of Jason Marcus and Heather Heuser, the couple behind the lovely Traif restaurant. Though the flavors are Mexican, there are influences of Southeast, Middle East, European and Moroccan cuisines that reflect in their seasonal menu. Savor their dishes like steak tacos, chicken sopes, green pozole, Arctic char ceviche, roasted lamb meatball, braised duck lettuce wraps and pork belly carnita. Their bar has an impressive list of wine, selected tequila and mezcal, craft beer.
We offer carne asada, pollo asado, adobada and nopal tacos and tostadas. Try a quesadilla or grab an agua fresca!
