Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele "Michael" Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele's commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. Since our first Villa Pizza next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.

Mici is short for our family name, Miceli. We're locals now, but have roots deep in Italian soil. Our recipes are generations-old, and to us, food is a big deal. We feed our children and yours, so it's important to use healthy, clean ingredients. Think hormone-free, nitrate-free, and foods with no preservatives or fillers. Exploring the infinite possibilities of iPIE, we make 8" personal iPIES in our open kitchen before your discerning eyes so everyone gets exactly what they wish, a no compromise zone. Pizza has tomato sauce, iPIE has infinite possibilities. We have 9 distinct sauces including fresh eggs so we can serve breakfast all day. We have 5 crusts including award winning gluten free. We were named "Best Of" by 2 Northern Coloado publications in 2013. Our fresh toppings cannot be beat including fresh roasted anaheim chilis, jalapenos and garlic. Our italian sausage and chorizo are locally produced in Louisville CO, no nitrates or fillers. We use 90/10 Halal beef. With uber fresh salads, fabulous wings, multiple dessert iPIEs, beer on tap and wine too, we can handle anything. We also sport a mobile catering unit to bring fresh iPIE anywhere. Start with our Italian pizza iPIE and then branch out. The key is leveraging our sauces, Try them virgin or mix em up. Are you a mixologist?
Pam Proto moved to Colorado in 1990 and immediately loved the Centennial State. Pam found her new home was everything she hoped for... except for one thing. She missed the pizza she had grown up with in New England -- the kind with thin, charred crust, bubbly cheese, and plenty of good memories. So she decided to bring that pizza to her new hometown. Today, Proto's is a Colorado-wide favorite. Guests will feel right at home when they're treated to a warm welcome from our staff (who are really more like family). After you've ordered, peek into our open kitchen and watch your pizza bake in our authentic Italian ovens. But hurry! In two minutes it'll be out and on its way to your table.
