Joe was the original owner of GeJo's IV, which was opened in Centennial in 1979. He sold the business to Bert who ran GeJo's for the last 20 plus years. Now the Galasso family is back. They took ownership of the location in 2011 and re-opened a fully renovated GeJo's in early 2012. We pride ourselves on our food and we only use the finest and freshest ingredients available. We use all Galasso family recipes which have been passed down through the generations and originated from Nana Cappelucci in Northern Italy. Simple beginning, slow growth, big success Anthony’s Pizza has its humble beginnings in a small storefront location in downtown Denver, just off the 16th Street Mall, when in 1984 Henry Mann started serving the lunchtime crowd New York style pizza by the slice. The original Anthony’s is still there, and still a favorite among lunchtime diners and the many new residents that now occupy the lofts and condos in and near downtown. Anthony’s has since grown slowly to serve fresh-cooked pastas and salads, but still retain an intimate, casual and family atmosphere. Today, each of Anthony’s Colorado restaurants follows a successful format, but is individually operated.
