Il Canale

If you are privy to the Washingtonian social circles, you must have heard of Il Canale, a celebrity hot spot in the heart of the nation capital's neighborhood Georgetown. Everyone in the Who's Who in American Power playbook has dined here. Il Canale has been a go-to place of journalists, actors and heads of states from Hillary Clinton to Brigitte Macron to Nancy Pelosi to Ivanka Trump. Harrison Ford likes to come here when he is in town, and when he shows up, it's very low key.

Wiseguy Pizza

A New York inspired pizza restaurant that serves huge 18-inch pizzas, massive cut slices, and a wide variety of flavors!

2 Amys Neapolitan Pizzeria

2 Amys decided to bring the traditional Italian flavors to Washington DC in its authentic form. Getting its name and origin from the Neapolitan tradition, the pizza is cooked in a wood-burning oven. That's the factor that gives the pizzas the aroma and tantalizing flavor. At 2 Amys the endeavor is to retain the authenticity of the tradition. One of the most unique topping you'll find here is the Eggplant confit on the pizza called Etna. Another traditional baked variety is the Sfogliatelle, a typical Italian dessert with many layers. The touch of Amys' is the homemade candied grapefruit peel. On Saturdays and Sundays they serve the special handmade doughnuts.

&pizza

We're pizza's future. We're a mission-driven, culture-carrying community. We're that better flavor, quality ingredients, kinda pie. We're not 'Big Pizza,' and proud to be so. Because we're doing more - a more livable wage, a more socially conscious vision, and more real actions. And we're being more; so, expect more

Andy's Pizza - Shaw

It's our take on a classic slice shop. Slices too big to fit the paper plate! With an unrelenting focus on quality, we hope to soon be your favorite slice!

Pizzeria Paradiso - Dupont Circle

We opened Pizzeria Paradiso so we could make the kind of pizza we longed for but couldn't find in the DC area; the kind of pizza where the crust was the most important part. So we started with a wood-burning, domed, stone oven able to cook at a temperature of 650 degrees. We also wanted our guests to feel like they were being treated to the warmth and comfort of a close friend's home, so we placed the oven at the heart of the restaurant. Next, we developed a dough that would respond to our oven the way we dreamed. We let our dough rise slowly, work it by hand, lightly grace it with the finest quality toppings, finish it with extra virgin olive oil and cook it in our beloved oven. As Phyllis Richman wrote about us, "making great pizza isn't all that difficult. ... All it takes is a commitment to quality. That's what makes the difference at Pizzeria Paradiso."

Emmy Squared Pizza - Navy Yard

The elaborate menus feature a variety of small plates along with pizzas ranging from classic margherita to signatures such as "The Emmy", "Good Paulie", and "Tina". A special kids' menu and a wonderful cocktail and wine list completes the decadent experience.
