Violas is a family owned and operated Italian & Fresh Seafood Restaurant. Serving authentic made from scratch Italian dishes, fresh seafood & NY style hand tossed, brick oven pizzas. Violas has an exclusively small batch wine list, 12 beers on tap featuring many local craft beer and the best sangria in town. Our third generation recipes originate from Long Island, NY. Our love for great Italian food shines through in our tasty, homemade traditional dishes in a family fun environment. Reservations highly recommended, including bar seating.
Pizza Time is a small, nondescript gem right on historic St. George Street. It serves pizza by the slice and it's ideal for those who wish to grab a quick one without breaking the bank nor interfering too much with your sightseeing or shopping excursions. Pizza Time is also a cash-only establishment, but the pie slices are worth using the ATM inside if you want to taste an authentic one without going to Brooklyn.

Our pizza is the real deal. We use a dough recipe and method that has the crispy bottom and edges that great Chicago deep dish is known for. It has the power to withhold all of the quality ingredients and the crunch that people crave. Our sauce is made from scratch. It is zesty, garlicky and has a hint of sweetness to balance it all out. People have said, “it’s not mamas, but it is really, really good.” Of course, we can’t compete with an Italian mama. We are born and bred Chicagoans and have eaten many deep dish pizzas over our lifetime. We know what it is supposed to be and taste like. It is not overloaded with cheese and called Chicago style. Unless you’re from Chicago, there is no competition. Our customers will be the first to tell you.
